This est Shot comes from Ted Spaudling of Chapel Hill, who photographed it in his yard in the Monterey development off Damascus Church Road.

"This photo was taken October 21, 2007 with a Canon 20D Digital SLR with autoexposure and auto whitebalance. The lens was Tamron 90 mm F/2.8 macro. While I was taking the picture of the rose, the visitor happened to fly by and obliged by hovering for a few seconds. An example of the right place at the right time."
