This Best Shot comes from Randal Hand, a fourth year graduate student in pharmacology at UNC.
"While mowing my yard in Carrboro, I tossed a stick out of my way that accidently hit a pine tree which contained a blue bird box. Needless to say I was puzzled when I saw this critter poke its head out. After closer inspection with binoculars I was still confused until I took a few photos and consulted the Internet. I believe a flying squirrel had taken residence in the blue bird box. Cheers."
