"This photo of what I think is a barred owl was taken one morning last spring when the wisteria was in bloom through the window of my office in the Franklin Square office condos in Chapel Hill where I have my psychology practice. I had been listening to and watching a pair of these owls all winter when I finally began keeping my camera at the office and was able to get this shot when a client spotted him or her. (I sit with my back to the window.)"
