Today's Best Shot comes from reader Barbara Putney of the Orange County Girl Scouts.
"Attached is a picture of Muriel Williman, outreach and education coordinator from Orange County Solid Waste Management, showing girls examples of organisms that break down food scraps into soil. The girls were attending Orange County Girl Scout Day Camp at Camp New Hope. The theme for the week was 'Go Green! Recycle, Reduce, Reuse.' Eighty-seven girls in grades 1-6 participated in the all volunteer-run program. In addtion, 32 middle and high school girls assisted adult volunteers as program aides."
