The Carrboro Recreation and Parks Brewers finished in first place this season with a record of 13-1 in Carrboro's Minor League. They went on to earn the league's post-season tournament championship, winning their first two games by a combined score of 24-6 and then edging the Cubs, who had dogged them all season in the Minor League standings, 6-5 in the final game.
