Seminar offered in Web marketing
The next seminar in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber's Seminar Series presented by Progress Energy will be held on June 5 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the chamber offices.

Bike program seeks new hubs
Blue Urban Bikes, a community bike-share project in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, is looking to expand the program by adding two or three new stations, or "hubs."
The program allows registered participants to pick up a bike from a hub, use it for transportation during the day and drop it off at another hub.
Local business owners interested in hosting a hub should call 960-6886 or e-mail
surgenc@yahoo.com.
Land donated for learning lab
The Legacy at Lake Jordan LCC, which is developing more than 600 acres adjacent to Jordan Lake, has donated 11 acres of land on the tract land to N.C. State University to be used as a learning laboratory. The site, previously zoned for community institutional use, will now be preserved in its natural state.
This conservation donation will create a nature's classroom for use by the Agricultural Education Program, which is part of N.C. State University, the Agricultural Foundation, the FFA Association and Chatham County Schools. The environmental laboratory will provide hands-on experience for students enrolled in the Chatham Central High School agricultural program.
