Engagements, Weddings
Published Sunday on the Celebrations page. With the announcement, you may send a photograph of the individual or the couple. Wedding announcements will be published up to three months after the wedding.
Forms are available at the newspaper offices at 505 W. Franklin Street and on the Web site. Call 932-2000 to arrange to have one sent to you. Return forms to the office or send to chnclerk@nando.com.

Pictures that are accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope will be returned. Other pictures may be picked up at the newspaper office after publication.

Deadline for pictures and information is noon Thursday for publication the following Sunday.

Obituary
Ask the funeral home to fax a death notice to 919-968-4953. Obits may also be submitted online or e-emailed to chnclerk@nando.com. Obituaries must be received by 3 p.m. Tuesday for Wednesday’s edition and by 3 p.m. Friday for Sunday’s edition. We do not charge for obituaries, but we do edit them following a format. Please include date and place of death, age of deceased, a brief summary of details about the deceased, and survivors in the immediate family (spouse, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and where they live.
