Compassionate Touch/Massage -- Cancer patients, family members and caregivers can schedule free one-hour sessions from 10 a.m. every Tuesday and third Wednesday at Cornucopia House Cancer Support Center. Call 919-401-9333.

Family Advocacy Network -- Meets 6-7:45 p.m. third Thursdays at the Mental Health Association at 302 W. Weaver St., Carrboro. Linda Boldin, 919-942-8083.

Family Violence Prevention Center -- Offers domestic violence support groups as well as a daytime group for Spanish-speaking women who are in or who have been in an abusive relationship. Childcare available. Call 929-7122.

Gambler's Anonymous -- Meets at 7:30 p.m. Mondays at Amity United Methodist Church, 825 N. Estes Drive. Call 888-846-4427.

HIV/AIDS Support Group for Chatham County -- Meets from noon to 2 p.m. (lunch provided) second Wednesdays in alternate locations between Pittsboro and Siler City, offering emotional support, education on medications, financial assistance and a caring and understanding environment of peers with interpreters at each meeting. Any Chatham County resident with HIV/AIDS is invited to attend; confidentiality a MUST. Contact Crystal Campbell at 542-8271.

Overeaters Anonymous -- OA is a 12-Step organization for anyone suffering from compulsive overeating, anorexia, bulimia, or any food/eating-related issue.
