The Carrboro High School Drama Department will host three public performances of its first-ever musical -- "Seussical the Musical" -- this week before taking the show on the road to several Chapel Hill elementary and middle schools.

Carrboro High will present "Seussical" Saturday, March 15, at 3 and 7 p.m. and March 16 at 3 p.m. The cast and crew will pack up the sets, props and costumes and perform the show for students at Culbreth Middle School on March 17 and at Scroggs Elementary and McDougle Middle schools on March 18.

The show is a family-friendly 70-minute romp through many favorite Dr. Seuss stories. A cast of 15 performers takes on more than 50 characters.

Tickets to the public performances are $5 for students and $10 for adults.

Contact Brooke Linefsky at 918-2200, ext. 252313, or blinefsky@chccs.k12.nc.us for tickets.
