The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education will conduct its annual legislative breakfast on April 7 at 7:30 a.m. in the Lincoln Center Boardroom.

Invited guests include: County Commissioner Barry Jacobs, State Board of Education Chair Howard Lee, N.C. Speaker of the House Joe Hackney, N.C. Senator Ellie Kinnaird, Congressman David Price, N.C. House Member Verla Insko and N.C. House Member Bill Faison.

Topics to be discussed include: dropout rate and prevention efforts, growth and construction planning, the transfer tax, the Newcomer and Welcome Centers, four resolutions suppported by the North Carolina School Boards Association and the Graduation Project.
