The Orange Water and Sewer Authority board will meet Thursday night to receive an update on water supplies and discuss water-use restrictions.

Recent rainfall added 335 million gallons to the utility's reservoirs in the last week.

Stage 3 water-use restrictions have been in effect since March 1.

As of Monday morning, OWASA's three lakes were 68.7 percent full overall.

The OWASA board will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Community Room on the lower floor of the OWASA Administration Building, 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro.

Customers are invited to attend OWASA board meetings.
