Estes Hills Elementary School will support TV Turnoff Week with a number of events this week.

The week is designed to encourage students to watch less television and engage in other valuable and healthier pursuits. The school nurse, media specialist and PTA volunteers are coordinating events that include Camp in with Books and Jump Rope For Heart, featuring the SkipSations jump roping team.

For the book camp, tents will be set up in the media center and stars will be hung overhead for every book students read. Guest readers, writing contest, artwork and theme days are planned.
