The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools 21st Century Community Learning Center program recently completed a project called "Through Our Eyes: A Photographic Essay on Social Justice."

For the project, students discussed social justice and were given cameras and challenged to go out and photograph examples of social justice or injustice.

The project resulted in a coffee table-type book of photographs and a photo exhibit on display at Lincoln Center, 750 S. Merritt Mill Road.

The featured photographers are Jonathan "Chuck" Beck of Carrboro High School, DeMario Farrow of Chapel Hill High, and William Cook, Quentin Lyght, Tracey McCauley, Devante Riggsbee and Jonathan Smith from East Chapel Hill High. Rodney Trice facilitated the project.
