John T. Gatzy and Sylvia Pence Gatzy
ANNIVERSARY
John T. Gatzy and Sylvia Pence Gatzy celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on June 28. They were wed 50 years ago on that date at the First Presbyterian Church in Cambridge Springs, Pa. John Gatzy is retired from teaching and pharmacology research at UNC-Chapel Hill. Before suffering two strokes, Sylvia Gatzy spent the past 50 years supporting, caring for, and nurturing her family. The Gatzys reside just outside Chapel Hill, and have three daughters and three grandchildren.
