Tiffany Dawn Wooten and Ryan Thomas Cain were married July 19 at Orange United Methodist Church, Chapel Hill. The Rev. Ray Warren and the Rev. Dana Wooten officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dana and Vickie Wooten of Kernersville. She studied middle grades education at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a teacher (formerly of McDougle Middle, currently of New Hanover County Schools).
The groom is the son of Larry and Paula Cain of Thomasville. He studied business administration at UNC-Wilmington and currently is employed as a salesman for Valve and Pump Specialties, Inc., of Wilmington.
The bride was given in marriage by her father in the double-ringed ceremony.
Maids of honor were Brittany Wooten of Castleton, Vt., and Danielle Wooten of Winston Salem, sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Brooke Hoots, of Durham, Carrie Jacobsohn of Durham, Christina Owen of Apex and Wendy Abernathy of Hickory.
Larry Cain of Thomasville (father of the groom) and Thomas Cain of Thomasville (grandfather of the groom) served as best men.
Ushers were Christopher Johns of Wake Forest, Edward Leonard of Clayton, Kenneth Cain of Thomasville and Carl Lydick of Warrenton, Va.
The reception was held at The Barn at Valhalla in Chapel Hill and hosted by Mr. And Mrs. Donald VonCannon, aunt and uncle of the bride.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will make their home in Castle Hayne.
