Design studio opens in Carrboro
12 Grain Studio, Inc., a creative services firm that specializes in web and graphic design, web and marketing copy, illustration, and animation, recently opened in Carrboro.Laura Sargent, freelance copywriter and former editorial journalist, and Matt Duquette, freelance illustrator and former art director and senior designer, run the business."We are transplants from the 'City of Good Neighbors' -- Buffalo, but have already decided that Carrboro is more worthy of that title," Duquette said. Jacqulyn L.
