Amy Weaver Norwood and Donald Irwin Roush were married Saturday at University Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Anna Pinckney-Straight officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Gail Norwood and Michael Norwood of Chapel Hill. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from UNC-Wilmington and a bachelor's degree in nursing from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a newborn critical care nurse at the North Carolina Children's Hospital.
The groom is the son of Marilyn Roush and Donald Roush of Chapel Hill. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of California-Riverside with a double major in history and political science. He is a home inspector with Accurate Home Inspections.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Mary Evelyn Norwood Starnes of Marietta, Ga.
Bridesmaids were Laura Sweeney Ferrara of Baltimore, Md.; Emilie Gantt of San Francisco; Meleah Mauldin of Blowing Rock; and Katie Young of Durham.
Flower girl was Ella Kathryn Starnes of Marietta, Ga.
Best man was Eric DePriest of Pacifica, Calif.
Ushers were Marc Cameron of Marina Del Ray, Calif.; Dan Robba of Paso Robles, Calif.; Andy Starnes of Marietta, Ga.; and Rob Woo of San Jose, Calif.
Music was provided by Thomas Brown.
A reception at the Carolina Inn was hosted by the bride's parents.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Raleigh.
