The bride is the daughter of Dennis Barry Gillings and Joan Heckler Gillings of Chapel Hill. She received a master's degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She works in real estate development.

The groom is the son of Joey Richard Dross and Cheryl Sue Gross of Owensville, Mo. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri and is attending UNC-Chapel Hill for a master's degree in business administration.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Maid of honor was Amy Jean Perkins of San Francisco.

Bridesmaids were Mollie Hanneli Bigley of Bermuda; Erin Marie Casey of Carlisle, Pa.; Allison Taylor Coward of New Bern; Regina Michelle Filice of San Francisco; and Lori Parker Heath of Bertrand, Mo.

Flower girl was Isabel Sarah Wilson of New York.

Best man was Jamieson Seth Gross of Owensville, Mo.

The bride's parents hosted a reception at The Carolina Inn. Following a honeymoon in Barbados and The Seychelles, the couple will reside in Chapel Hill.
