Darlene Hayes and Chester Hayes of Brunswick, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Nanci Dwon Hayes, to Robert Jameal Carter, son of Linda Carter and Robert Herring Jr. of Brooklyn.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Glynn Academy High School and works in administration.
The groom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Virginia State University
The wedding will be held Aug. 15, 2009, in Atlanta.
