Ginger Pizer and Jon Hochberg were married at the Barr Mansion in Austin, Texas on July 12.
The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Lyn Pizer of Chapel Hill.
She holds a doctorate in linguistics from the University of Texas and is assistant professor of linguistics at Mississippi State University.
The groom is the son of Herbert and Susanne Hochberg of Austin, Texas.
Matron of honor was Tonia Pizer Luo of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Chapel Hill.
Flower girl was Carina Luo.
Best man was Lee Davis of Denver Colo.
The couple lives in Starkville, Miss.
