Fourteen dancers from Mali, Benin, Nigeria, Togo, Mozambique and Senegal perform in Heddy Maalem’s explosive interpretation of the infamous 1913 Stravinsky/Nijinsky ballet, 'The Rite of Spring,' at UNC. The performance is part of the Gender Project.
