•A 2007 Honda CHF50 scooter was reported stolen sometime between Oct. 13 and Oct. 24 from the back porch of a Todd Street residence.

•Burfitt Hayden Johnson, 55, of 1511 Old Greensboro Road in Chapel Hill, was arrested Friday and charged with habitual impaired driving. According to a police report, Johnson's blood alcohol level was 0.22 and he has had four DWI convictions in the past six years.

•A 47-year-old West Main Street resident reported Saturday that she was assaulted by her boyfriend. According to a police report, a warrant was issued for the arrest of the boyfriend, Carlos Guerrero.

•Police received a report on Saturday that a group of people in a dark-colored vehicle followed a woman driving on N.C. 54, "chased her in and out of traffic" and threw beer bottles at her vehicle. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

•Jaime Alejandro Aguilar Castro, 20, of 404 Jones Ferry Road Unit D11, was arrested Saturday and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer. According to a police report, officers said he swung his left hand across an officer's face, resisted arrest and had to be "forced to the ground utilizing a straight arm bar" when police responded to a property damage report at his apartment complex.

•Orlando Matehuala Ramirez, 29, of 501 Jones Ferry Road Unit I9, was arrested Sunday and charged with misdemeanor larceny. According to a police report, Ramirez is suspected of stealing a case of beer from Food Lion on N.C. 54.

Chapel Hill

•Brendan Phillip Cannell, 20, of 7000 Falconbridge Road, was arrested Friday and charged with identity theft.

•Someone stole two computer speakers and a scanner, valued at $120, from a locked office at Chapel of the Cross on East Franklin Street on Friday.

•Bakari Couts Roscoe, 17, of 6 Timberlyne Road, was arrested Friday and charged with shoplifting and felony possession of cocaine. According to a police report, Roscoe is suspected of stealing nail polish, eye shadow and other cosmetic products from Rite Aid on Weaver Dairy Road and was found with cocaine.

•A 1999 Chrysler, valued at $5,000, was stolen from an East Franklin Street apartment complex on Friday night.

•Eric Devron Jackson, 31, of 1120 Frazier Road in Mebane, was arrested Saturday and charged with first degree burglary, assault on a female and interfering with an emergency. According to a police report, Jackson is suspected of entering a Forsyth Drive residence uninvited, arguing with a woman and destroying property, causing $100 damage to a wall.

•Someone reported hearing gunfire on Sykes Street on Saturday night.
