• A Huntsman Court resident reported Monday her dogs attacked turkey vultures in her backyard. Officers took two birds to a wildlife rescue group.
• Clyde Clark, 47, of 401 N.C. 54 Unit D27, was arrested Monday and charged with misdemeanor assault. According to a police report, Clark was involved in a domestic violence incident.
• Someone broke a window at a Royal Park Apartments residence on N.C. 54 on Tuesday and stole a computer, a monitor, speakers, a video game system and two video games.
• Matthew Brian Parent, 50, of 103 Culbreth Road in Chapel Hill, was arrested Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering, according to a report.
• Someone broke a window at Cliff's Meat Market on West Main Street with a brick.
• Someone stole $38 cash and 20 oxycodone pills from an unlocked apartment at The Crest at Westend on N.C. 54 on Thursday.
• Dwayne Chauncey Clemons, 19, of 401 N.C. 54 Unit B47, was arrested Thursday on Laurel Avenue and charged with being a fugitive, according to a report.
• Vehicle break-ins this week:
Someone entered an unlocked car on West Poplar Avenue and rummaged through the glove compartment, but nothing was stolen. Another West Poplar Avenue resident reported that an iPod was stolen from her car and her rear fender was damaged. Four cars were broken into at Chateau Apartments on N.C. 54. Tires were slashed on several of the vehicles, and some were missing their CD player face plates. Someone stole a computer hard drive from one of the cars.
Chapel Hill
• Jason Clint Hearn, 27, of 91 Winnsong Drive in Pittsboro, was arrested Monday and charged with felony possession of marijuana, selling and delivering marijuana, maintaining a vehicle where drugs are sold, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, according to a police report.
• A man listed only as "John Doe," 45, whose address was listed as the streets, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree burglary and vehicle breaking and entering. According to a police report, he broke into a garage on Bonsail Place and slept in a minivan.
• A stolen credit card was used to purchase $1,853.82 of books from Tar Heel Bookstore on East Franklin Street on Tuesday.
• Bobby Junior Willard, 25, of Burlington, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony larceny and fraudulently obtaining property, according to a police report.
• Someone chiseled the locks off a trailer on Erwin Road on Wednesday and stole tools valued at $10,000.
• A front loader on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard was vandalized on Wednesday, causing $4,000 damage.
• Devon Rashon Riggsbee, 27, whose address was listed as the streets, was arrested Wednesday and charged with affray, assault and battery. According to a police report, he punched a man in the face at the corner of East Rosemary Street and Henderson Street.
• Someone cut a lock on a storage pod on Howell Street on Thursday and stole tools valued at $3,320.
• Someone broke into a Timberlyne Road residence and stole a $10 necklace Thursday.
• Vehicle break-ins:
Someone stole a $9,000 rug from a vehicle on South Elliott Road. Keys were used to enter a car on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and steal a credit card.
