SAVINGS LECTURE -- Michael Sherraden, a social development expert, will give a free public lecture on "Savings, Assets and Financial Inclusion in the U.S. and Globally: Promises and Challenges," at 11 a.m. in the auditorium of the Tate-Turner-Kuralt Building on the UNC campus.

BRAND AMBASSADORS MEETING -- The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough will hold a Brand Ambassador program session at the Orange County Historical Museum, 201 N. BBQ DINNER -- Chapel Hill Boy Scout Troop 59 will hold a fundraising BBQ dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at North Chapel Hill Baptist Church, on Martin Luther King Boulevard across from the Harris Teeter. Eat in or take-out plates are $8.50 for adults, $4.50 for children.
