• UNC student Mark Odame Pieterson, 18, of 100 Raleigh St., was arrested Monday and charged with felony possession of schedule I drugs and resisting arrest. According to a police report, Pieterson had 2.4 grams of methamphetamine.
• The window of Glenn's Tailor Shop on East Rosemary Street was broken Monday night and money was stolen from the cash register.
• A 22-year-old Butner man reported that he was robbed at gunpoint at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the parking lot of Bolinwood Condominiums on Umstead Drive.
• Elsa Marie Offenbacher, 20, of 102 Karin Court, was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
• Brendan Phillip Cannell, 20, of 115 Basnight Lane, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony fraudulently obtaining property and identity theft. According to a police report, Cannell used a false ID to rent a post office box.
