This month Dale has done another beautiful painting, this time of an owl. Few birds are more interesting than the owls. They are associated with both wisdom and witchcraft, viewed as both good and bad omens, silent and stuffy observers -- owls are all of these things.

Owls have fantastic sight and hearing and use both to hunt. Fringed flight feathers on their broad wings create silent flight.
