HILLSBOROUGH - Over the next several months, Orange County Government will open both newly constructed and renovated facilities in Hillsborough. These facilities will house existing county services in a more consolidated campus setting.
Campus locations, types of service and projected transition dates are provided to inform the public as established services move to these new locations.
East Campus
Link Government Services Center, 200 S. Cameron St. (currently open). This newly renovated facility houses the following Orange County Departments:
-Board of County Commissioners and the Clerk to the Board
-County Manager
-County Attorney
-Financial Services Department (moved from 208 S. Cameron)
-Human Resources Department (moved from 208 S. Cameron)
West Campus:
Orange County Office Building, 131 W. Margaret Lane (opening late November). Orange County Departments and services re-locating to this facility:
-Planning and Inspections (moving from 306 Revere Road)
-Erosion Control (moving from 306 Revere Road)
-Environmental Health (moving from 306 Revere Road)
-Economic Development (moving from 110 E. King St.)
-Information Technologies (moving from 208 S. Cameron St.)
-Asset Management & Purchasing Services (moving from 129 E. King St)
Orange County Main Library, 137 W. Margaret Lane (opening January 2010). The main library will be moving from 300 West Tryon St.
Hillsborough Commons:
Orange County Department of Social Services, 113 Mayo St. (opening January 2010)
