Women's Voices Chorus will gather for a winter concert called "Ain't I a Woman!" on Sunday at 3 p.m. at University United Methodist Church in downtown Chapel Hill. The concert's title comes from the famous words of Sojourner Truth at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention in 1851, and the performance will feature songs about heroines through the ages. From Old Testament heroines to the Virgin Mary, from Abraham Lincoln's mother to unnamed women toiling at factories and homes, the concert will sing of the strength and grace of women young and old. The choir will also premiere three new works by Duke University graduate composers, Sidney Boquiren, Paul Leary, and Thom Limbert. Women's Voices Chorus is the Triangle's only community-based classical chorus for sopranos and altos. Tickets are $15; $5 for students, available at the door. 684-3855,
