Paving corridor probably inevitable

The recent controversy over installation of a paved bike path by Bolin Creek seems a little beside the point.

I've been riding a mountain bike back there for nearly 30 years - although surely I can't be that old! While I lament the Starbucksification of the university property with actual marked trails, readable maps and recycling bins, I realize as use increases of this community resource such change is inevitable.

A paved trail merely formalizes the use many of us have been putting the Bolin corridor to for a long time.
