If something seems a little bit different about this year's Post-Turkey Day Jam at the Cat's Cradle, that's because it's a
Post-Turkey Day Jam. For most of its 10 years, the annual Thanksgiving-ish concert at the Cradle as been a Pre-Turkey Day Jam, held the day before the holiday. This year the event will be held the day after, on Friday, but the idea is the same: Put a bunch of great musicians on the stage and direct the proceeds to the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service for its hunger relief programs. This year's model features Jon Shain (who started this whole thing a decade ago), along with guitarist extraordinaire Will McFarlane, singer-songwriter Sally Spring, Peter Holsapple (of the dBs), Birds and Arrows, and New Town Drunks. Admission is $10, and it goes to a great cause. Get off the couch and work off some of those holiday calories. 967-9053,
