Spaying and neutering helps our pets live healthier lives. Spaying greatly reduces the risk of breast tumors in both dogs and cats. Spaying also eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and serious diseases such as pyometra - a life-threatening infection.
Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and reduces the risk of prostate disease and enlarged prostate glands.
Spaying and neutering can make our pets happier companions by removing the discomfort, distress, and distraction of finding a mate and reproducing.
Spaying and neutering can make our pets less likely to bite, roam neighborhoods, run away, or get into fights.
Spaying and neutering our pets can help them to live happier, healthier lives. It is also the single most important thing we can do to help eliminate the overpopulation problem in our communities.
