The Inter-Faith Council is seeking a special use permit to build the new Community House at 1315 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. On Monday night, the mayor and Chapel Hill Town Council will conduct the continued public hearing for our permit application. IFC representatives will respond to questions posed by council members at the first public hearing and re-emphasize the IFC's commitment to providing 52 transitional housing beds and 17 emergency shelter cots.

At the end of this process - whether on Monday or later this spring - we look forward to a positive outcome that will provide a permanent site that we can proudly call HOME. This would be a historic milestone for homeless men, for the IFC and for our caring community.

A good turnout of supporters will confirm to the Town Council our community's commitment to the new Community House. Please join us there.
