We are writing in support of James Barrett for School Board. We have known James for over 10 years and have witnessed firsthand his commitment to the community, and specifically to our children and their education.

We are confident that James, who went through the Chapel Hill/Carrboro school system, will represent all of the constituents of our educational community. He will balance their needs to make tough, pragmatic choices that will improve the education of all of our children. Anyone who meets James quickly recognizes his commitment to fairness while demanding excellence.

As parents of children at Frank Porter Graham Elementary, we are proud to support James Barrett. We ask all residents voting Nov. 8 to consider James Barrett for School Board.
