The Cornucopia Cancer Support Center will hold its annual A Chocolate Affaire fundraiser on Feb. 12 at the Millennium Hotel in Durham.

The fundraiser features two events: A Champagne Brunch from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., and A Chocolate Affaire, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Proceeds benefit Cornucopia's programs for people with cancer and survivors, family members and caregivers.

Tickets are $60 for A Chocolate Affair or $120 for both events.

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, in partnership with the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Delta Foundation, will sponsor the Queen of Hearts Gala at 8 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Sheraton Hotel, 100 Europa Dr.

The event will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, live music and dance by Soul Play and a silent auction.

Proceeds support the American Heart Association and the chapter's educational scholarships and public service programs.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from any chapter member or by email at queenofheartsgala@gmail.com.

Registration is now open for Chatham Habitat for Humanity's Third Annual Chatham 3RingCycle, set for 8:30 a.m. May 12, at 8:30 a.m. at the Central Carolina Community College campus in Pittsboro.

The bicycle ride features 30, 60, and 100 mile loops. Pre-registration for adults is $40; $45 for walk-on registration. Pre-registration for ages 16-18 is $30; $35 walk-on.

The R&R Grill, 137 E. Franklin St., will host a Super Bowl Party starting at 6 p.m. today to benefit the Kidzu Children's Musuem.

The Super Bowl, with kickoff at 6:30 p.m., will be shown on the restaurant's 50-inch screen TVs. The party will feature an unlimited buffet featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ, soda, tea and more from 6 to 8 p.m.

Price is $15 for adults and $7 for children. Reservations are accepted by not required. A portion of the entry fees will support Kidzu Children's Museum.
