The Women's Center's annual fundraising art exhibition and sale, "Through Women's Eyes, By Women's Hands," will be held in the Top of the Hill restaurant's Great Room on Friday, March 2.

The exhibition will feature more than 200 artworks in a variety of media on 5-by-7 inch canvases, each one signed only on the back, so guests can guess which artist created each piece. Among the participating artists are Jane Filer, Mary Rountree Moore, Nancy Tuttle May and others, but the names of the artists will be revealed only after each piece is purchased. Filer will offer her latest painting through a live auction. All proceeds benefit the Women's Center.

The cocktail reception will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $50. A private sponsors' reception will be held from 6 to 7 p.m.

Tickets and information are available at 919-968-4610 or womenspace.org.

Please send fundraising announcements for the Community Cares column to chnclerk@nando.com.
