For a guy with nerve damage in his hands and partial hearing loss in both ears (the left damaged by a firecracker, the right by firing practice with the U.S. Naval Reserve), Leo Kottke hasn’t done too shabbily. Over the span of more than 40 years, he has built a career as one of the most accomplished and innovative acoustic guitarists of out time.
You can catch him in an unusually intimate setting next Tuesday, when he pays a visit in The ArtsCenter’s American Roots Series. He plays at 8 p.m. at 300-G E. Main St. Tickets and info are at 919-929-2787 or artscenterlive.org.
