•  The East Chapel Hill High School Dance Ensemble will present its Spring Showcase at 7:30 p.m. April 28 in the East auditorium. Suggested donation $5 or nonperishable canned food. Proceeds benefit PORCH.

•  The Jason Ray Foundation will host a fundraising Brunch and Auction at the Carolina Club Alumni Hall April 29, to benefit patients who have undergone solid organ transplantation at UNC Hospitals. For more, see jasonray.org.

• The second annual Charles House Tennis Benefit will be held May 5 at the Chapel Hill County Club, The Farm and Hollow Rock Racquet and Swim Club. The Unity programs of Chapel Hill, East Chapel Hill and Carrboro high schools will present FundFest from 3 to 9 p.m. April 28 at the Carrboro Town Commons, 301 W. Main St. The fest will feature live music, performers and vendors.

The Unity program is a national Outward Bound program that gives young people from different backgrounds the opportunity to spend a week on a wilderness course with a focus on diversity training and promoting positive change.

Proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and the Unity Program. Suggested donation $5.
