An event to benefit the Orange County Rape Crisis Center will be at 6 p.m. at the new Top of the Hill Distillery. Fundraising Gala

Carolina Moonlight, the first fundraising gala for the N.C. Botanical Garden, will be from 6:30 to 11 p.m. in and around the garden’s LEED Platinum Education Building and Piedmont Gardens. Tickets are $125. There will be hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer and music by Rebecca & the Hi-Tones. Before and during the gala there will be a silent online auction.
