The Racial Reconciliation Ministry of Baptist and Barbee’s Chapel Harvest Word Ministries will host its biannual giant yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 18, at Binkley Baptist Church, 1712 Willow Dr.
The theme is “Creating Home,” and net proceeds will provide housing for children and adults in the local community and throughout the state by supporting the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service and the Central Children’s Home. A portion will also go to the PTA Thrift Shop.
Items for sale will include furniture, kitchen wares, children’s clothes and toys, collectibles, electronics, clothing, accessories, books, plants and much more.
The sale begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Parking will be available at University Mall.
