Walter Brauner died on August 5, 2012 at The Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, South Carolina.
He was the son of the late Frank and Margaret Brauner. He is survived by his wife, Maria A. Ophoven Brauner. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
