CHHS boosters raised funds for Tiger athletics by installing seat backs for the season ticket holders at Kenan Memorial Stadium. CHHS earned money for each seat finished.
Chapel Hill opens its football season Friday with a home game at Culton-Peerman Stadium with Carolina 2A champion South Granville.
UNC, under first-year head coach Larry Fedora, opens its season Sept. 1 with a home game against Elon University, the first meeting ever in Chapel Hill between the two N.C. schools.
