Today's Best Shot comes from Fred Jenkins of Chapel Hill, who writes, "A doe gave birth to three fawns in the woods just behind our house. She licked them clean for over an hour, and their first steps on spindly legs were quite wobbly. Yet within two hours they were slowly following her farther into the woods, stopping frequently for rest and more cleaning. Quite a site."
