Arthur L. Holmes,
Debra J. Holmes and
Sandra L. Henson have been appointed to the Board of Visitors of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Center is part of the School of Medicine at UNC
They join the 101-member volunteer group that plays a critical role in increasing public awareness, promoting the interests, and advancing the priorities of the center and the N.C. Cancer Hospital in its mission to bring the best in cancer research and care to the people of North Carolina.
Arthur Holmes is president and CEO of PharPoint Research, Inc, a clinical research company based in North Carolina.
Debra Holmes is a senior program associate for the Burroughs Wellcome Fund in Research Triangle Park. She serves on the Patient and Family Advisory Board for the N.C. Cancer Hospital, clinical home of UNC Lineberger.
Henson has served on numerous boards including the Executive Mansion Fine Arts Committee, the N.C. Symphony and the Morehead Planetarium Board and the UNC Board of Visitors. She is a friend and supporter of Cornucopia Cancer Support Center and provided funding for the Wesley C. Fowler Jr. Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology in the UNC School of Medicine.
