The North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center will hold a Food Truck Benefit from 5:30 p.m. until dark Thursday, Aug. 23 at Clearwind Farm, 4705 Nicks Road, Mebane.

Certified instructors will lead therapeutic riding demonstrations with the center’s horses, riders and volunteeers. The event will also feature kids’ activities including painting a pony, plus food from the American Meltdown, Humble Pig, Pie Pushers and Local Yogurt food trucks.

Proceeds will benefit the Therapeutic Riding Center’s programs to help children and adults with autism, chromosomal/genetic disorders, developmental delay and traumatic brain injury.

Admission is by $5 donation at the door, and food will be available for purchase.
