Carrboro Fall Garden Workshop

A class on basic techniques and tips for planting fall vegetable seeds and transplants, soil amendments, pest control and more will be on Sunday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park community garden, 1120 Hillsborough Road, Carrboro. Donations are $10 per class and all proceeds will go to the nonprofit organization, Growing Healthy Kids Community Garden.
