North Carolina Rails-Trails will hold “Full Steam Ahead,” a benefit concert featuring Mary Johnson Rockers and the Spark Saturday, Sept. 8, at The ArtsCenter, 300-G E. Main St., Carrboro.
The event will include a silent auction and performances by Elon University students Matt D’Amico and Julie Crothers and Elon alumnus Karena Thacker.
One hundred percent of ticket sales will benefit North Carolina Rails-Trails, a nonprofit land trust that preserves abandoned rail corridors for use as public trails and greenways. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for admission and one drink ticket; $20 for admission and two drink tickets.
