•  Woods Charter School will present Woodsrock, a fundraising festival, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday,Sept. 15, at the school, 160 Woodland Grove Lane.

The event will feature live music be area groups as well as the school’s faculty band, plus a host of activities for families and children.

Proceeds go to transportation needs for students.

Tickets are $5 for individuals, $15 per family. Children under 5 are admitted free.

•  The 4th annual BBQ for Babies presented by the Duke Intensive Care Nursery Family Advisory Board will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Teer Farm, 7729 Kepley Road, Chapel Hill.

The event will include dinner and dessert, music, raffle, activities and more.

Tickets are $10 per person.
