CARRBORO - Thousands turned out on a picture-perfect Sunday for the 15th annual Carrboro Music Festival.

More than 180 acts performed at 25 venues from early afternoon until late in the evening. Here are a few scenes from the event.

The festival is a product of the Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department and the Carrboro Music Festival Planning Committee. It features all styles of music. In just a few hours (and blocks) you can hear bluegrass, folk, jazz, country, rock, classical, and world music.

All of the performers donate their talents.
