The Preservation Society of Chapel Hill will open
“Tintypes and Ambrotypes: Views from the Cape Fear River,” an exhibition of works by Wilmington-based photographer Harry Taylor, with a reception at the Horace Williams House, 610 E. Rosemary St., from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The exhibition will remain on display through Nov. 4. 919-942-7818,
