Bud Owen was born in Kane, Pennsylvania and lived in Chapel Hill from 1971 until his death on Oct 4, 2012. He worked in Raleigh for Inland Construction Co. until his retirement at age 65. He was a devoted father and grandfather and faithful family man. He is succeeded by his wife Patricia Owen and children: Pamela Cole, Douglas Owen and Kimberly Hoffman and grandchildren: Christina, Krystal, Mary, Bradley and Victoria. In lieu of flowers, donations to Duke Hospice would be appreciated.
